Brainerd Minnesota Lakes area is a regional shopping, industrial, and tourism center. There are many nearby resorts that take advantage of the many nearby lakes including Gull Lake. The Mississippi River flows right through Brainerd with five road/highway bridges and one railroad bridge crossing it. There is also the Paul Bunyan Trail, a bowling alley in Brainerd, Movie theater in Baxter, Amusement Parks in area. Brainerd is also home to one of the Central Lakes College campuses. The Center renews sublease for greenhouse

The Center (of Brainerd MN) renewed its sublease with the Brainerd School District for $1 for the green house at the ISD 181 school board meeting November 13 2019. Kathy Tusa and Nick Reindl spoke to the school board.
They use the green house for their plant sale they have annually. 5000 plants are started in green house for The Center plant sale including tomatoes, carrots and other plants.

Brainerd City council 11-4-2019 meeting was in it's temporary venue the first time. For remodeling city hall during the next few months, meetings will be held at the Crow Wing County Historic Courthouse about 1 block away from city hall on 3rd floor with some committee meetings on 2nd floor.

(Between n 4th st and nw 4th)
There were long delays. There were multiple people directing traffic including police officers and construction workers.
College drive was being repaved 7-15-19
Lanes have since reopened on both bridges
